Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems. Specifically looking for the right candidate that has experience in Card Access, Fire, Security, and Controls.
Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, coaxial, etc.) Install and configure systems such as CCTV, access control, intercoms, alarms, and A/V Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Maintain accurate records of installations and service calls Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and safety regulations Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site
Requirements:
  • Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, coaxial, etc.)
  • Install and configure systems including CCTV, access control, intercoms, fire alarms, security, and A/V
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service calls, and materials used
  • Adhere to all local codes, safety standards, and company policies
  • Represent the company professionally on-site and deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in low voltage systems or a related field Proficiency with tools and techniques for cable pulling, terminating, and system testing Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documentation Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Relevant certifications a plus (BICSI, NICET, OSHA 10/30, etc.)
