We are looking for a Fire Sprinkler Designer with 2+ years of experience to join our growing team. This position is a good fit for someone who understands sprinkler layout, can read construction documents, and wants to continue growing in fire protection design. Responsibilities Prepare fire sprinkler shop drawings and submittal packages. Layout sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards, project specifications, and AHJ requirements. Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for coordination. Assist with hydraulic calculations, revisions, coordination, and project documentation. Communicate with project managers, contractors, and internal team members. Requirements Minimum 2 years of fire sprinkler design experience . Working knowledge of NFPA 13 . Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Experience preparing sprinkler shop drawings. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication skills and willingness to take direction. Preferred Experience AutoCAD / HydraCAD Revit BIM coordination Hydraulic calculations NICET certification or interest in pursuing NICET Compensation Pay is based on experience and skill level. Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with strong HydraCAD, Revit, BIM, calculation, or NICET experience. Location Kansas City area. Full-time, in-person position.
