This role is essential in maintaining a secure environment, preventing fire hazards, and supporting system design and inspection activities. As a Fire Watch/Helper, you will be the first line of defense in safeguarding personnel and property while assisting skilled technicians with system installation and maintenance tasks. Duties Monitor construction sites or work areas to detect potential fire hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols Conduct regular inspections of fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and alarm systems to verify proper operation and compliance with codes Assist licensed technicians with installation, testing, and maintenance of fire safety systems, including fire alarm and sprinkler fitting tasks Maintain clear communication with site supervisors, emergency responders, and team members during shifts or incidents Document all inspections, observations, and safety checks accurately in logs or reports Enforce security measures by controlling access points and monitoring activity around the work area Support the setup of alarm systems for sales demonstrations or client consultations as needed Requirements Strong understanding of security protocols and safety procedures on construction sites or industrial environments Basic knowledge of system design principles related to fire alarms, sprinklers, and alarm systems Experience or familiarity with construction inspection processes is preferred Ability to identify potential hazards related to fire safety and communicate findings effectively Willingness to learn about fire sprinkler fitting, fire alarm systems, and related installation techniques Good physical condition to stand, walk, or perform inspections for extended periods Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in fire safety systems while contributing to a secure construction environment.
