Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems, fire alarm, cctv, access control and speaker systens in commercial buildings
  • Program and test alarm systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarm systems, including diagnosing and repairing wiring problems
  • Provide customer support and training on alarm system operation
  • Collaborate with clients to design customized alarm system solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in alarm system technology
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an Alarm Technician or in a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of locksmithing and mechanical principles
  • Familiarity with telecommunication systems and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Proficiency in CCTV installation and troubleshooting
  • Experience using power tools for installation and maintenance tasks
  • Knowledge of system design principles for effective alarm system installations
  • Understanding of electrical systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
