This position is responsible for designing and supporting fire sprinkler system projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and experienced with industry-standard design tools and practices. Responsibilities Design fire sprinkler systems using industry-specific software ( Autosprink preferred ) Perform hydraulic calculations in accordance with NFPA standards Prepare accurate material stocklists for fabrication and installation Conduct site surveys to collect field data and verify existing conditions Interpret construction documents, including drawings and specifications Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and project requirements Qualifications NICET Level I (minimum) in Water-Based Systems Layout required Experience with fire sprinkler design software ( Autosprink preferred ) Ability to perform hydraulic calculations Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications Experience with stocklisting materials Ability to perform field/site surveys Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Work Location Charlotte, NC (In-office
