(KSI) is a family-owned leader in security and banking equipment service and installation across the Carolinas. We're seeking a self-motivated, dependable Installation Technician based in Charlotte, NC , covering the Carolinas and surrounding states. This full-time position focuses on Installing CCTV systems, alarm systems (DMP), ATMs, TCRs, pneumatic tube systems, vaults, and teller equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, reliable, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Independently troubleshoot, service and install a wide variety of electronic and physical security equipment including alarms, cameras, and door access control modules.
  • Program and configure DVR/NVR camera systems.
  • Perform ATM and pneumatic system installations
  • Read wiring diagrams and schematics accurately
  • Installs and services electronic and physical security products including pulling wire per applicable specifications and codes.
  • Tests all installed/serviced equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with customers' requirements and all applicable codes.
  • Communicates important project status information to management and customers as necessary.
  • Maintains and controls assigned truck stock inventory in an organized manner.
  • Ensures company vehicle is maintained according to established standards.
  • Travel regionally throughout the Carolinas and occasionally the surrounding states for installations; occasional overnight stays required
Qualifications:
  • Highly self-sufficient, dependable, resourceful problem solver who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and comfort with hand tools
  • Detail-oriented and takes pride in producing clean, reliable, and professional installations.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11 based Operating Systems.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • NCR Certification is a plus.
  • Willing to train on security equipment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time if necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
