Installation Technician

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure low voltage security systems and HVAC controls.
• Perform site surveys to determine the best installation methods and equipment placement.
• Run cabling and conduit for various systems, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
• Test and troubleshoot installed systems to ensure they are working correctly.
• Provide training to customers on how to use installed systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, including diagrams and system configurations.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass background/drug screen and ability to maintain NC Security License.
• Possess a valid certificate or relevant experience in low voltage installation.
• Proficient in computer networking and understanding of IP-based systems.
• Knowledge of security system components and their installation requirements.
• Familiarity with locksmithing techniques for installing locks and access control systems.
• Experience with alarm system sales is a plus.
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools to complete installations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
