Job Description Security System Technician Overview Security System Technicians help keep Smart Buildings safe by installing, programming, and maintaining systems like CCTV/IP cameras, alarms, access control, and security software. You'll also work directly with customers during setup and training. Key Responsibilities
- Install, program, and commission security systems
- Conduct system testing, inspections, and support final acceptance
- Run reports and troubleshoot system performance issues
- Train customers on system operation

- 1+ year experience with security system installation or maintenance
- Understanding of networks, servers, and operating systems
- Comfortable working in varied environments (heights, outdoors, mechanical spaces) and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet fleet requirements Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (Associate degree in electronics preferred)
- 3+ years of related experience Ability to read construction and design documents
