This position focuses on the inspection, maintenance, service, repair, and installation of fire extinguishers and kitchen hood fire suppression systems . The ideal candidate will have hands-on ability, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently while representing the company professionally in the field. Key Responsibilities Inspect, service, maintain, and install fire extinguishers and kitchen hood suppression systems. Perform routine inspections in accordance with applicable NFPA codes, manufacturer requirements, and company standards. Complete maintenance tasks including disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, recharge, hydrostatic testing coordination, and replacement of defective components. Troubleshoot system issues and recommend necessary repairs or corrective action. Complete detailed service reports, inspection documentation, and customer paperwork accurately and on time. Communicate professionally with customers regarding service findings, repair needs, deficiencies, and recommendations. Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle, tools, and assigned equipment. Follow all safety procedures and company policies while working on customer sites. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. (Required) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. (Required) Minimum of 2 years of fire protection experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate. Experience with fire extinguishers and/or kitchen hood suppression systems is strongly preferred. Familiarity with applicable NFPA codes and standards related to portable fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems. Strong . Ability to work independently and manage assigned work efficiently. Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills. Must be dependable, professional, and able to represent the company well in the field. Compensation Pay is based on experience, certifications, and demonstrated ability to work independently. Candidates with current fire protection certifications, proven field experience, and the ability to complete work with minimal supervision may qualify for higher compensation.
