This pivotal role involves overseeing technical operations related to security systems, ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software components, and leading a team of skilled technicians. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in computer networking, electrical systems, and security technology, combined with excellent leadership abilities. Responsibilities Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of comprehensive security systems including CCTV, sensors, alarms, fire alarms, and access control devices. Field service activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of projects while adhering to safety standards and schematics. Troubleshoot complex issues involving computer hardware, low voltage wiring, cabling, system design, and telecommunication networks to ensure optimal system performance. Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs; provide expert guidance on system design, upgrades, and alarm system sales opportunities. Maintain detailed documentation of schematics, wiring diagrams, remote access software configurations, and service records for all projects. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or lead in security system installation or maintenance roles. Strong knowledge of computer networking protocols, surveillance systems (CCTV), IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), sensors, and low voltage electrical systems. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using power tools, hand tools, and fire alarm installation equipment. Familiarity with schematics interpretation, electrical wiring standards (including NEC codes), and system design principles for integrated security solutions. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues involving computer hardware, remote access software, cabling infrastructure, and telecommunication systems. Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team leadership; ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Valid electrical experience and/or access control electrified lock installation background is a plus; AV experience is advantageous.
