Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our dynamic safety and fire protection team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and servicing fire extinguishers in remote Oilfield locations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Your expertise will help safeguard facilities, employees, and assets by ensuring all fire suppression equipment is fully operational and up-to-date. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your technical skills and commitment to safety make a real difference. Responsibilities Install and perform routine inspections and maintenance of fire extinguishers, ensuring proper pressure, accessibility, and compliance with safety codes. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to service and repair fire extinguishers. Document all inspections, repairs, and system modifications meticulously in compliance with industry standards. Qualifications Must hold a New Mexico Certificate of Fitness. Proven experience as a service technician in fire protection or related fields such as construction inspection or mechanical systems. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and field service equipment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members regarding system status or sales opportunities.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
