$130/day offered to travelers 60+ miles from the jobsite

ASAP We are currently seeking an experienced Field Engineer or Superintendent to support industrial and commercial projects involving Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems . This position is responsible for overseeing field operations, coordinating subcontractors and crews, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting project execution from planning through completion. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate installation activities for Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression systems on commercial and industrial job sites. Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, P&IDs, specifications, and project schedules. Support field execution including conduit layout, device installation, terminations, panel installation, testing, and commissioning. Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, contractors, and client representatives to maintain project timelines and quality standards. Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and site-specific safety requirements. Track progress, manpower, materials, and daily field reports. Assist with troubleshooting, QA/QC inspections, punch lists, and final turnover documentation. Oversee subcontractors and field crews to ensure productivity and workmanship meet project expectations. Qualifications Experience as a Field Engineer, Superintendent, Foreman, or Lead Technician supporting Fire Alarm and/or Fire Suppression projects. Knowledge of NFPA standards, life safety systems, and industrial/commercial construction practices. Experience with conduit, cable tray, terminations, device installation, testing, and commissioning preferred. Ability to manage crews, schedules, and multiple project priorities. Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications. OSHA certification preferred. NICET certification is a plus. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
