In this energetic role, you will work on diverse construction projects, conduct system inspections, and troubleshoot complex low voltage electrical systems. Responsibilities Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring compliance with all safety codes and standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system design documents to accurately execute installations. Use hand tools, power tools, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to assist with system layout and adjustments. Conduct construction inspections to verify proper system integration with building infrastructure, including fire sprinkler fitting and low voltage wiring. Troubleshoot electrical issues related to sensors, alarms, and control panels; perform repairs or replacements as needed. Perform field service visits for system testing, calibration, upgrades, and emergency repairs to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate installation schedules and provide technical support for alarm system sales. Requirements Proven experience in fire alarm systems installation or service technician roles; construction or electrical background preferred. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, electrical wiring, sensors, and low voltage systems. Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and fire alarm system design principles. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, and CAD software for system layout. Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical drawings for system installation. Excellent field service skills with a focus on troubleshooting electrical issues related to fire alarms and sensors. Prior experience in fire sprinkler fitting or fire alarm sales is a plus; strong communication skills are essential for customer interactions.
