This position plays a key role in leading the installation, programming, service, and final commissioning of sophisticated commercial fire alarm and life safety systems from top-tier manufacturers. Key Responsibilities Install, program, test, and commission complex fire alarm systems in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. Diagnose and repair panels, devices, and networked systems to maintain full functionality. Program and integrate systems from leading manufacturers such as: EST, Kidde, Bosch, and others. Ensure installations meet
NFPA 72, NFPA
70, and all other applicable state and local codes. Coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal team members to complete projects successfully. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians as needed. Qualifications NICET Fire Alarm Systems Certification Level II, or III required. Proven experience with systems including EST, Kidde, and Bosch. At least 5 years of direct experience installing and servicing commercial fire alarm systems preferred. OSHA 10 or 30 certification and strong working knowledge of NFPA standards. Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. Valid New York State driver's license with a clean driving record.
Compensation Note:
The listed pay range reflects varying levels of experience and expertise. Final compensation will be based on qualifications, technical skill set, and relevant background.
