OVERVIEW

  • This position pays up to $32.40 / hr. and includes paid health insurance (at no cost to you) and paid pension and annuity.

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • + Install low voltage copper and fiber optic cabling.
+ Terminate, test copper and fiber cabling systems using certified test equipment. + Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment. + Repair and install network enabled systems such as CCTV, Access Control, AV Control Systems, Central Sound, Video Management Servers, Projectors, Screens, Interactive Displays, etc. + Assists in keeping building common and technology spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition. + Accomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, national and local codes and industry standards such as TIA and BICSI. + Updates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies. + Attend Toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc. + Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification. + Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.

  • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, depending on position. + High School diploma or GED required. + Knowledge of the Low Voltage Integration or ICT industry. + BICSI and/or AVIXA certification desirable but not required. + Valid Driver's License.

The employee must have the ability to navigate around job site locations.
