Job Description

Position Summary Based in Euclid, OH, this full-time, on-site role focuses on the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of security, fire alarm, camera, and access control infrastructure. We are seeking a professional with high-level diagnostic skills and a commitment to customer service to ensure all maintenance and service requests are handled efficiently and effectively. Core Duties Identify and resolve technical malfunctions within security, access control, camera, and fire alarm hardware. Execute scheduled testing and maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with code and manufacturer standards. Ensure rapid response to service requests while keeping dispatch and management informed of progress. Validate that systems are fully operational post-repair and keep detailed logs of all completed tasks. Help track project hours and materials to ensure accurate record-keeping for every assignment. Provide guidance to clients by answering operational questions and offering system training. Contribute to system retrofits, replacements, and upgrades when necessary. Keep all assigned equipment, company vehicles, and tools in a clean and functional state. Promote a secure workplace by adhering to all NFPA, OSHA, and internal safety protocols. Act as a professional ambassador for the company at every client location. Qualifications A minimum of two years of professional experience servicing access control, security, or fire alarm systems. Demonstrated ability to diagnose peripheral devices and control panels. Experience with Honeywell, Avigilon, Mircom, or DMP systems is considered an asset. Understanding of NFPA 72 and 70 standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Possession of a dependable vehicle and a current driver's license. Competence in interpreting wiring schematics and utilizing various diagnostic instruments. Fundamental computer skills for managing service documentation and tickets. Requirement to obtain a Fire Alarm License within 90 days of meeting eligibility criteria.
