In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing commercial fire sprinkler systems to ensure they meet all safety standards and code requirements. Your expertise will help protect lives and property by ensuring fire suppression systems are fully operational and compliant with industry regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to community safety through high-quality service. Duties Perform routine inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with industry standards, including ASME codes & standards. Diagnose system issues using schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings; execute repairs or replacements as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installation and maintenance procedures. Use calipers, soldering tools, tube bending equipment, and rigging techniques for precise assembly of piping systems. Maintain detailed service logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation; adhere to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. Assist with system upgrades or modifications following HVAC principles or plumbing best practices; support maintenance activities as needed. Experience Ohio License for Fire Sprinkler and Pump Proven experience in fire sprinkler maintenance, or inspection roles within construction sites or manufacturing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards for piping systems. Familiarity with plumbing, HVAC systems, pipeline assembly, tube bending, soldering techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Experience working on construction sites or in industrial settings with a focus on safety compliance. Knowledge of rigging procedures for lifting heavy components; ability to operate calipers and other precision measurement tools. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizes or system specifications; understanding of schematics is essential.
