Position Requirements:
Ability to work a Monday-Friday and occasionally be on-call (calls paid at Double Time and minimum 2 hours pay). Install and anchor new equipment for security purposes. Security, camera, fire alarm and access control installation, integration, networking, programming, service, and inspections principally in the field Operate a variety of equipment, tools, and machines Technicians are responsible for day-to-day operations on the job site and include staging and performing daily work and communicating project status to Field Supervisors. Operate a company vehicle to obtain parts and drive to various locations to perform work. Perform related duties as assigned. Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations On-call service rotation as needed Provide guidance and field training to apprentice technicians. Ability to lead crews of other installers
Initial Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience:
    High School or equivalent certification from a college or technical school or completion of a trade school apprenticeship program
  • Active Oregon Limited Energy Class B license AND Washington 06 Journeyman card
  • NICET preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience
  • Valid Oregon or Washington state Driver's License and proven good driving record
  • Reliable transportation is required; vehicle will be provided

Methods, materials, tools, and equipment for electrical systems Applicable laws, codes, rules, and regulations Follow Appropriate safety precautions and procedures Record-keeping techniques Maintain tools and equipment in clean working condition. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Observe legal and defensive driving practices with a valid driver license Team player and dependable
