The salary range for this position is $41.00

00 per hour depending on experience. Job Responsibilities Tests all equipment after installation or repairs made to ensure performance of system Use company software to input testing results and read blueprints Analysis and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems including Ground-Faults, Shorts, Wire Integrity, Termination, Panel, Fuses, Battery Testing and much more Program dialers for monitoring. Phone line traditional and cell phone monitoring skills needed Complete repairs and installations including moves, adds, relocates for all types of systems and devices Interact with clients, field personnel and fire marshals Coordination with other disciplines, engineers, general contractors and end users Daily communications with Project Manager and/or Schedule Coordinator on inspection or project delays, requirements and general status of jobs Responsible for training apprentices on Company procedures, systems inspection and installation techniques All work is performed to NFPA and Company standards with quality inspection and installation techniques practiced Job Qualifications Knowledge of NFPA codes is required NICET I Certification a plus High School Diploma/ GED required Fire Alarm Service Experience required Manufactures certifications are preferred but not required (Silent Knight, Gamewell, FCI, Fire Lite, Honeywell) Field installation experience OSHA 30 is a plus Ability to pass a post-offer drug test, background and reference check LEA License Required Clean Driving Record Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation Regular bending, reaching, climbing and walking All qualified applicants with Western States Fire Protection Company will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation and gender identity, national origin or status as a qualified individual with a disability or protected veteran.
