Security Installation Technician

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Integrated Security Systems is a full-service security systems integrator located in Souderton, PA. Our team designs, installs, and services commercial security systems throughout the Philadelphia and surrounding areas.

JOB SUMMARY

The lead security technician installs, programs, tests, and troubleshoots complex electronic security systems for the company's customers in the commercial market. The technician will follow the direction of the assigned project manager to complete all installation work for the security projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead the installation and programming efforts on project sites Direct installation technicians on the proper techniques for proper installation Installation of security devices and cabling at customer sites Programming of electronic security devices Troubleshooting of complex integrated security systems Read and understand scopes of work and drawings Travel regularly to regional jobsites Attend manufacture training classes to increase skills

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED

Minimum of five years' experience in security, video surveillance, access control, and/or intrusion systems IT networking experience Low voltage electrical systems knowledge Intermediate to advanced computer skills Good written and verbal communications skills Ability to function in a fast-paced environment Ability to work with hand and power tools Must adhere to OSHA Safety Standards Must adhere to all company rules and policies Must possess a valid driver's license Ability to work independently Flexibility to work extended/on-call hours as needed Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

PREFERRED

Experience/certifications in any of the following: Genetec, Lenel, Bosch, Exacq, Hanwha Experience at commercial or industrial facilities and construction sites
