In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing access control gates and related security systems across various sites. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation of security infrastructure, including electronic gate operators, sensors, CCTV, and low-voltage wiring. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technology while providing essential access solutions that safeguard facilities and assets. Your technical skills and proactive approach will help us deliver reliable security access for our clients. Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot access control gates, sensors, CCTV cameras, and associated security hardware in accordance with schematics and system design plans Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical components such as gate operators, lock mechanisms, and power supplies to ensure optimal functionality Conduct field service visits to client sites for system diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and commissioning of new equipment Manage low-voltage wiring, cabling, and electrical connections following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks while adhering to safety guidelines Assist in system design modifications by interpreting schematics and technical drawings to meet client requirements Support remote access software setup for system monitoring and troubleshooting purposes Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving telecommunication systems, fire alarm integration, or surveillance equipment Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or installer in security systems or related fields such as construction or telecommunications Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience in low-voltage systems and cabling techniques Familiarity with computer networking principles necessary for remote system access and integration of surveillance or alarm systems Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately Hands-on experience working with CCTV cameras, sensors (including IDS—Intrusion Detection Systems), fire alarms, access control hardware, and security system components Proficiency using hand tools, power tools (such as drills), and power supplies safely and effectively Knowledge of NEC standards relevant to electrical installations in commercial environments Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system issues efficiently on-site or remotely Effective communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members during installations or repairs Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred Join us if you're passionate about security technology and eager to deliver dependable access solutions!
