Fire Sprinkler Designer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with system design, installation, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. This role requires proficiency in drafting and technical writing, as well as familiarity with relevant codes and standards. The Fire Sprinkler Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all fire protection systems are designed, installed, and maintained according to industry regulations and company policies. Duties Design and draft fire sprinkler systems using software. Create detailed schematics for fire protection systems. Conduct inspections and maintenance of existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with safety codes. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to build effective fire protection solutions. Perform technical writing tasks to document system designs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Stay updated on industry codes, standards, and best practices related to fire protection systems. Provide support during the installation process by coordinating with project teams. Requirements Proven experience in mechanical engineering or a related field. Proficiency in design software. Strong drafting skills with the ability to create detailed schematics. Familiarity with codes and standards governing fire protection systems. Excellent technical writing skills for documentation purposes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Prior experience in system design is preferred but not mandatory.
