Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting video, security alarm and access control systems in various settings. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in electrical work and a passion for technology.
Duties:
  • Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, audiovisual equipment, and telecommunications systems
  • Perform wiring and cabling tasks to connect devices and components
  • Test and troubleshoot systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions
  • Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure proper installation and integration of low voltage systems
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical principles and low voltage systems
  • Familiarity with schematics and blueprint reading
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines is preferred
