Security System Field Service Technician (OOJ - 44159) 25-29 / US Dollars / Hourly NPAworldwide Recruitment Network update Last updated: Mar/30/2026 Job Description Install, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems in compliance with safety standards. Perform onsite diagnostics, wiring, device repair, programming, and system troubleshooting. Collaborate with team members to complete installations accurately and efficiently. Conduct system testing and provide training to clients on system operation. Diagnose technical issues, perform repairs, or escalate when necessary. Document installation and service activities thoroughly. Follow up on open service tickets, jobs, and inspections with coordinators or managers. Adhere to company policies and safety protocols. Stay current with emerging security technologies. Participate in the on-call rotation. Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills. Proven field service experience, preferably in security systems. Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret schematics. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience with low voltage systems including security, fire, video, and access control. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights using lifts or similar equipment.
