Job Description

Job Summary Dynamic Control Systems is a growing low voltage systems provider specializing in Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control, and Network installations. We are a locally owned company focused on delivering high-quality work and developing our team members into skilled technicians. We are seeking a Level 1 Low Voltage Fire/Security Technician (Entry-Level / Helper) to join our installation team. This role is responsible for supporting lead technicians in the installation of fire alarm and security systems, with a strong focus on running wire, mounting devices, and assisting with job site tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the low voltage industry and grow into a lead technician role. Responsibilities Run low voltage wiring through conduit, ceilings, walls, and floors Install and mount devices including but not limited to: Fire alarm devices (smoke detectors, pull stations, horns/strobes), Security devices (cameras, motion sensors, keypads) Assist lead technicians with system installation, setup, and testing Pull, label, and terminate cables as directed Maintain clean and organized job sites Load/unload tools and materials for installation projects Follow project plans, layouts, and instructions from supervisors Adhere to all safety protocols and job site requirements Support troubleshooting and system testing as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic understanding of hand and power tools Willingness to learn and follow direction Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work in a team environment Good communication skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs Comfortable working on ladders and in ceilings Preferred (but not required) Experience in construction, electrical, or low voltage work Familiarity with fire alarm or security systems Ability to read basic drawings or blueprints
