•Job description Tier 1 Fire Protection is a leading name in the Fire Life Safety and Low Voltage industry. We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Lead Technician to join our team! What you will do. As a full-time Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installation and service of commercial, retail, educational, healthcare, and industrial jobs throughout our service area. In this role we are looking for a highly motivated, responsible, reliable, and teamwork-oriented technician to ensure superior installations on all projects.

Experience or knowledge of the electronic security solutions industry, with an understanding of Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV Surveillance Systems, Card Access Control Systems, Burglar Alarm Systems, and Intercom Systems. Must be able to work on ladders and lifts. Ability to work on a team or on an individual project. Ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals. Ability to install conduit and efficiently run cable/wire is preferred. Ability to maintain an in-depth knowledge of our complete line of products and services. Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to new and existing customers. Must be organized, self-driven, and customer service focused. Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and solve problems effectively. OSHA 10 training is preferred Proficiency in Security and Alarm based Applications.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with clean driving record required Must be able to pass a drug test Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment Proficient in basic computer skills Proactive approach and attitude towards work Demonstrate problem-solving skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Must be able to lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally May be exposed to temperature changes, small spaces, and confined spaces Apply today!
