This position is responsible for the inspection, testing, service, and repair of commercial fire alarm systems in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Program, test, inspect, and service fire alarm systems and related components Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance per NFPA standards and local codes Troubleshoot system issues and complete necessary repairs in a timely manner Complete accurate inspection reports, service documentation, and work orders Communicate effectively with customers, inspectors, and team members Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications Required:
Experience with commercial fire alarm installation, service, or inspections Knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire/life safety regulations Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
