Job Description
A well-established and highly respected fire protection company is actively seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, test, service, and repair fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential facilities
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with sprinkler systems, valves, piping, and related equipment
Perform routine maintenance and ensure systems remain compliant with NFPA standards and local fire codes
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
Complete service reports, inspection documentation, and maintenance records accurately
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and field personnel to complete projects efficiently
Respond to service calls and emergency repair situations as needed
Maintain a safe work environment while following OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, service, inspection, or maintenance preferred
NICET certification is preferred but not required
Strong understanding of NFPA codes and fire protection systems
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license preferred
Education & Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical training or trade school education related to fire protection is a plus
NICET certification or additional fire protection certifications are highly valued
