Position Summary:

Low Voltage/Fire Alarm Helpers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to assist experienced technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm and other low voltage systems. This role involves hands-on work like running wires, mounting devices, and testing systems, while learning about fire alarm and low voltage systems. It's a training position for those looking to enter the fire alarm or low voltage field.

Key Responsibilities:

Support technicians in installing fire alarm, security, data, and other low voltage systems. Running conduit and wiring, mounting devices (like smoke detectors and pull stations), and assisting with system testing.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in low voltage installation or related fields is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of electrical principles related to low voltage systems is essential.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
