Job Description Low Voltage Security Technician - Dallas-Fort Worth, TX Join Next Level Technician as a Low Voltage Security Technician in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX ! Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control systems Install door hardware (mag locks, electric strikes, door position switches, etc.) Install, service, and troubleshoot IP-based CCTV/video surveillance systems Install and maintain alarm systems and related security devices Install structured voice/data cabling to support security and network infrastructure Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system layouts Perform hardware maintenance, software updates, and system troubleshooting Support infrastructure and low voltage systems across commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.) Conduct basic system testing and assist with proof-of-concept evaluations
Requirements:
2+ years of commercial low voltage/security installation experience Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, and alarm systems Understanding of IP networking and structured cabling principles Ability to support system programming and commissioning (preferred) Manufacturer certifications, OSHA, BICSI, and lift certifications a plus Basic hand tools and required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots) Willingness to travel within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex as needed Why Work with Next Level Technician in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX?
