In this energetic role, you will install, service, and troubleshoot a wide range of security systems, including alarm systems, CCTV surveillance, sensors, fire alarms, and access control systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients' safety and peace of mind by designing reliable security setups and maintaining high-quality service standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment where your technical skills make a real difference. Duties Install, configure, and test security systems such as alarm panels, CCTV cameras, sensors, fire alarms, and access control devices using schematics and technical manuals Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on low voltage electrical wiring, cabling, and system hardware to ensure optimal performance Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installations efficiently and safely in construction or existing facilities Diagnose system issues related to computer networking, telecommunication connections, remote access software, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and security protocols Provide on-site field service support by inspecting systems for faults, repairing hardware components, and ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs; assist in alarm system sales by explaining features and benefits clearly Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate system design and installation Maintain detailed records of work performed, system configurations, and service reports for accountability and future reference Experience Proven experience as a service technician or installer specializing in security systems or low voltage electrical work Strong mechanical knowledge related to cabling, power tools usage, lock installation, and surveillance equipment setup Familiarity with computer hardware components involved in security systems and network configurations Hands-on experience with CCTV installation, sensors integration (motion detectors, glass break sensors), fire alarm systems, and surveillance technology Knowledge of system design principles for integrated security solutions involving telecommunication networks and remote access software Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex electrical or networking issues effectively Previous experience working in construction environments or with alarm system sales is a plus Embark on a career where your technical expertise safeguards communities while you grow professionally in a supportive environment that values innovation and dedication.
