We install, service, and inspect fire alarm, sound, and other life safety systems in wide variety of commercial spaces including schools, data centers, hospitals, and more. General Sound is seeking full-time installers to pull wire, trim devices, and assist fire alarm technicians with the installation of fire alarm and various communication systems. Hourly wage is based on prior experience. Additional forms are required to be filled out after your application here. Please keep an eye on your email for these forms. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Install wire and trim devices. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Valid Texas drivers license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation. Must pass a criminal background check and drug test. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to climb and work from ladders and lifts. Must be able to follow directions from technicians and other supervisors. Professional appearance and good communication skills. Must provide tools. Ability to read construction documents a plus.
