ENTRY-LEVEL SECURITY INSTALLER
Fortress Technologies is hiring an Entry-Level Security Installer to help install security systems throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on job, we will train the right candidate, experience is helpful but not required. PAY $15.00 - $20.00 per hour While this is an entry-level position, pay depends on experience. Those without experience start at $15, and those with related experience may earn more.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Install security and low-voltage systems Pull and route cable Install cameras, access control devices, and other equipment Use hand and power tools Work with technicians and foremen Follow safety rules and company procedures
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work may take place in: Construction sites Office buildings Banks and financial institutions Schools Government facilities Data centers Indoor and outdoor locations Climate conditions vary.
SCHEDULE
Most work is performed Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM dependent on site. Occasional overtime, night work, weekend work and out of town work may be required. Most projects are in the Greater San Antonio area, but travel throughout Texas may be required. Overnight travel is sometimes necessary. Employees are generally home on weekends.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to pass a criminal background check Good attendance and reliability Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to climb ladders and work from lifts Ability to work indoors, outdoors, in attics, and in crawl spaces when needed Ability to work in Texas weather conditions
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
Construction experience Security or low-voltage experience Electrical or telecommunications experience Experience using hand and power tools
