Job Description

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electronic Security Systems Technician to join our federal team supporting the Fort Sam Houston / Camp Bullis in San Antonio, TX. This role may help support some other bases in the nearby region as well, at times. Our team here is responsible for the maintenance, service, and sustainment of the Electronic Security Systems across the bases, primarily working with Lenel Intrusion Detection systems..
Schedule:
Primarily day shift (roughly 8:00am - 4:00pm), Monday-Friday.
  •  Conduct maintenance and service work of existing Electronic Security Systems (ESS) to include, but not limited to, access controls, intrusion detection, and camera systems. Specific systems primarily include, but not limited to: Lenel and Vindicator systems
  •  May install security devices and infrastructure at times per the installation plan, according to the National Electrical Code, company, and customer guidelines
  •  Assist with security system programming and setup.
  •  Conducts testing to ensure proper operation of equipment after installation or repairs
  •  Conducts testing of the system at the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.
  •  Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
  •  May help prepare estimates per prescribed instructions or directions from the supervisor
  •  Conduct End-User training.
  •  Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials, and cleans up installation debris.
