Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fire Alarm Installation Technician to join our team with 3-5 years of previous Fire system installation experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background installing, servicing fire panels. Preferably Nicet Level I, II, or III certified. This role involves leading installation projects, managing projects, troubleshooting systems, and programming fire alarm panels. Responsibilities
  • Maintain fire license, understand Fire code, ability to install and program Fire Panels.
  • Experience with Kidde, EST, Notifier, Firelite, or Silent Knight is a plus.
  • Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, and data networks.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete wiring and installation tasks.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure proper installation and functionality of low voltage systems.
  • Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on electrical systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns regarding low voltage systems.
Skills Proven experience in field service or as a service technician within the fire alarm systems industry. Proficient in using power tools and interpreting schematics for installation purposes. Ability to train others and delegate tasks efficiently Mechanical knowledge to detect issues and implement effective solutions during installations. Experience with remote access software for troubleshooting purposes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
