Duties Thoroughly clean and sand vehicle surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion Mask off areas that do not require paint using hand tools and masking tape Inspect vehicles for surface imperfections and prepare them for painting or further repairs Use power tools, airless paint sprayers, buffing equipment, and other hand tools to achieve smooth finishes Assist with auto body repairs such as dent removal, auto glass replacement, and minor welding tasks Support the auto restoration process by handling heavy lifting and moving parts safely Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and maintained Requirements Prior dealership experience or background in auto body repair is highly preferred Knowledge of welding, auto painting, detailing, and vehicle maintenance techniques Familiarity with auto estimating processes and customer service principles is a plus Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, buffing machines, and auto glass installation tools Mechanical knowledge related to auto restoration and mechanic experience beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Valid driver's license preferred; willingness to learn new skills on the job Join us as a Paint Prepper and bring your enthusiasm for automotive craftsmanship to life!
