Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Auto Body Disassembly Technician to join our collision repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for carefully disassembling damaged vehicles to support accurate repair estimates and ensure proper repair procedures. This position is critical to the efficiency and quality of our repair process. If you have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience in automotive repair or collision work, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently disassemble vehicles for repair and damage assessment
- Identify and document all damage, including hidden structural or mechanical issues
- Tag, organize, and store parts to ensure proper reassembly
- Assist estimators and technicians with damage analysis and repair planning
- Communicate with team members regarding parts, repairs, and timelines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow manufacturer repair standards and company procedures
- Assist with reassembly when needed Qualifications
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- High attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in auto body, collision repair, or mechanical work preferred
