Job Summary We are seeking experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Journeyman-level Auto Body and Frame Technicians to safely and efficiently return vehicles to pre-accident condition. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume, DRP-driven environment while maintaining exceptional quality standards. Responsibilities Perform advanced auto body repairs including dent repair, panel replacement, sectioning, and frame straightening Complete structural and non-structural collision repairs following OEM manufacturer standards Apply certified repair techniques to meet or exceed industry requirements Utilize MIG/spot welding and fabrication skills for steel and aluminum repairs Operate frame racks, measuring systems, and welding equipment accurately and safely Perform metal finishing and detailing to deliver refinish-ready repairs Review repair plans and estimates to ensure proper repair procedures are completed Collaborate with estimators, painters, and technicians to meet production goals Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment Communicate professionally with team members regarding repair progress and quality
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in high-volume, DRP collision repair shops Skilled in all metal types, frame repair, plastic repair, PDR, and welding Experienced in light to heavy structural repairs, including frame and unibody components Strong knowledge of frame measuring systems; aluminum repair experience required I-CAR, ASE, and manufacturer certifications highly preferred Car-O-Liner training and certifications a plus Willingness to relocate to Alaska and work in a year-round, fast-paced production environment What's in it for you? 40+ hours/week with competitive commission-based pay Sick pay (available to all employees, including temporary and seasonal) Full benefits package for full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and paid holidays Extensive paid training and continuing education Relocation assistance available for qualified technicians A sign-on bonus may be offered for local, qualified technicians
