In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles after repairs, ensuring a flawless appearance that meets manufacturer standards and customer expectations. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their original condition, enhancing both their aesthetic appeal and overall value. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced auto painting techniques in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-ups using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools Operate power tools and buffing machines to achieve smooth, polished finishes Perform auto body repairs such as dent removal, panel alignment, and welding as needed before painting Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during painting processes Conduct quality inspections of finished work to verify color match, finish consistency, and overall appearance Assist with vehicle detailing, auto glass replacement, and minor mechanical tasks when necessary to support overall vehicle restoration Requirements Proven experience in auto body repair and auto painting within a dealership or collision repair environment Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques including welding, sanding, buffing, and detailing Proficiency with auto estimating software and understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and buffing equipment Ability to lift heavy parts or vehicles safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly Mechanical knowledge related to auto restoration processes and vehicle systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients Dealership experience is highly preferred but not mandatory; a passion for automotive craftsmanship is essential Join us in delivering exceptional vehicle restorations by combining your technical skills with your enthusiasm for automotive excellence.
