We are an MSO with shops in both Turlock and Ceres. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety at either locations as needed. We prefer to do working interviews to assess your skill level and qualifications prior to onboarding. Pay is dependent on experience. Your expertise in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will contribute to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Conduct welding tasks such as MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication to restore vehicle structures. Assist with auto restoration projects by fabricating custom parts and restoring vintage or damaged vehicles. Maintain detailed documentation of repairs performed, including auto estimating and work orders. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues related to body damage and communicate with office staff for repairs. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures while managing heavy lifting tasks safely. Qualifications Proven experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred with knowledge of how to remove dents, replace panels, tear down vehicles, identify loss-related damages, communicate with estimators, etc. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, vehicle maintenance, and auto painting processes. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and auto estimating. Experience with auto restoration projects or classic vehicle repairs is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during detailing and assembly tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repair processes and timelines. Knowledge of automotive repair standards is desirable.
