The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair, restoration, and painting. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency with both hand and power tools. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and restorations. Conduct auto painting tasks, ensuring proper application techniques for a flawless finish. Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs. Detail vehicles post-repair to ensure they meet quality standards before delivery to customers. Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient workflow in the shop. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in auto body technology. Experience Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role is preferred. Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and components. Previous experience in auto restoration projects is desirable.
