In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by performing precise auto body techniques. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This position offers an opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive repair, with a focus on delivering exceptional craftsmanship. Duties Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies using auto body repair techniques, including welding repair, sheet metal work, and fabrication repair techniques. Utilize automotive welding equipment such as MIG welding, spot welding with pro spot, and heavy-duty power tools to perform structural repairs and assembly. Prepare vehicles for auto estimating processes by assessing damage and estimating repair times accurately. Operate automotive repair machinery safely while adhering to safety protocols; perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards. Experience 10 or more years Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role within a dealership or independent shop. Hands-on expertise with auto body repair, sheet metal, welding (including MIG welding). Familiarity with automotive welding equipment, sanding tools, power tools. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and mechanical systems to support comprehensive repairs. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
