Job Description

Monday-Friday 8-5pm Saturday 8-12pm Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced auto body repair techniques. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and appearance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, from everyday cars to high-end restorations, in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration with precision and efficiency Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including MIG welding), and fabrication techniques to shape and repair sheet metal components Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve smooth, flawless finishes Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with attention to detail Solder, weld, and fabricate metal parts for vehicle restoration or repair projects Assess vehicle damage accurately for auto estimating purposes and communicate findings clearly to customers or insurance adjusters Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and general automotive repair as needed Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair journey Requirements Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and automotive repair procedures Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and welding equipment Knowledge of auto painting processes including auto painting techniques and auto glass installation Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly Familiarity with auto estimating software and vehicle damage assessment procedures is a plus Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Join our team today if you're passionate about automotive repair, eager to develop your skills further, and ready to contribute to delivering exceptional vehicle restoration services!

$28.86 - $34.76 per hour
