In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and refinishing vehicles to manufacturer and customer specifications with precision and attention to detail. Your expertise will ensure every vehicle leaves the shop with a flawless, high-quality finish while maintaining safety and quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automotive refinishing and take pride in delivering exceptional paintwork in a fast-paced, professional environment. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning damaged or repaired areas. Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat using spray equipment to achieve high-quality, factory-like finishes. Blend adjacent panels as needed to ensure seamless color matching. Inspect completed paintwork for color accuracy, texture, gloss, and overall quality, making corrections when necessary. Maintain and clean paint booths, spray guns, and other painting equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow all safety procedures regarding hazardous materials, personal protective equipment (PPE), and environmental regulations. Work closely with estimators, body technicians, and management to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and on schedule. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Provide excellent customer service by taking pride in workmanship and contributing to overall customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience as an Auto Body Paint Technician, preferably in a dealership or collision repair environment. Strong knowledge of automotive paint preparation, color matching, blending, and refinishing techniques. Experience using HVLP spray guns, paint booths, and paint mixing systems. Ability to read and follow repair orders and manufacturer refinishing procedures. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality finishes. Knowledge of paint materials, primers, sealers, clear coats, and refinishing products. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting production goals. Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills. Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
