You'll be essential in maintaining a clean, organized workspace while assisting with repairs, buffing, and office support to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, and sheet metal work using hand tools and power tools. Conduct buffing, polishing, and detailing to restore vehicles' appearance to showroom quality. Assist with auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques and ensure proper surface preparation. Maintain shop cleanliness by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Support shop maintenance tasks such as equipment inspections, minor repairs, and ensuring all tools are in working order. Help with office duties including filing paperwork, scheduling appointments, answering customer inquiries, and managing administrative tasks. Assist with auto glass replacement and auto restoration projects as needed, utilizing welding (including MIG welding), soldering, and fabrication skills. Qualifications Dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including auto body repair, auto painting, auto glass installation, and sheet metal work. Experience with auto estimating software and customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate equipment such as lifts or jacks. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines and automotive repair processes. Familiarity with auto restoration projects and mechanic experience is a plus.
