In this role, you will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition with precision and care. Your expertise in auto body repair, sheet metal work, welding, and finishing will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive restoration and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and straightening using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Conduct MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication to restore vehicle structures and sheet metal components Prepare surfaces through sanding, grinding, and detailing to ensure a smooth finish for painting and finishing processes Apply auto paint using airless paint spraying techniques, ensuring color match and flawless coverage Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision Assist with vehicle assembly, disassembly, and mechanical repairs as needed to facilitate comprehensive restoration Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each vehicle to support auto estimating processes Skills Proven experience in dealership or auto body shop environments with a strong understanding of auto body repair procedures Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and working with sheet metal Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, auto restoration techniques, and automotive repair systems Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and auto glass installation tools Familiarity with auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying and detailing for a high-quality finish Ability to interpret auto estimating documents and communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs Strong work ethic with attention to detail, safety awareness, and a commitment to excellence in every project Join us if you're eager to bring vehicles back to life through expert craftsmanship!
