Pay depends on experience, knowledge, certifications, and production ability. Ideally, we are looking for highly skilled and motivated Toyota Certified Auto Body Technicians to join our dynamic team. One with experience in collision repair, diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and manufacturer repair procedures. The ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of Toyota systems, repair standards, and OEM guidelines while maintaining efficiency and quality in a fast-paced shop environment. In this role, you will also be responsible for expertly repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers, transforming damaged vehicles into safe, reliable, and visually stunning masterpieces. Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using advanced techniques such as MIG welding, soldering, and auto restoration methods. Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto glass installation techniques to restore vehicles accurately. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying systems to achieve flawless finishes that match factory standards. Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components through metal fabrication and assembly processes to ensure perfect fitment. Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify necessary repairs, estimate costs accurately, and communicate effectively with customers about repair procedures. Maintain detailed documentation of repair processes, parts used, and time spent on each vehicle for quality control and reporting purposes. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto estimating, auto body detailing, and auto glass replacement as needed. Qualifications Toyota Certification required (or equivalent dealership-level experience) Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive repair or collision repair Strong understanding of Toyota diagnostic systems and repair procedures Experience with frame, suspension, electrical, and mechanical repairs I-CAR certifications are a plus ASE certifications are a plus Ability to work independently and within a team environment Strong attention to detail and time management skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto body repair and automotive restoration. Proficiency in welding, soldering, sheet metal fabrication, and welding techniques essential for structural repairs. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto repair equipment. Expertise in auto painting techniques and auto finishing for professional results. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling large vehicle parts or damaged panels. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain repair processes clearly and professionally. Familiarity with auto estimating software and auto insurance claim procedures is a plus. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, auto glass installation, and automotive repair standards necessary for comprehensive service delivery.
