Smog Technician

As part of the MOBIVIA group, Midas operates nearly 350 centers in France and is expanding nationally and internationally. We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team and contribute to our commitment to excellence in vehicle maintenance.

• Responsibilities:

• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on various makes and models of vehicles.
• Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Execute mechanical repairs including but not limited to engine repair, auto body repair, and diesel engine repair.
• Utilize power tools effectively and safely to complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform vehicle maintenance services such as servicing, oil changes, tire replacements, shock absorber installations, and timing belt replacements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and provide exceptional service to customers.

• Skills:

• Proficiency in automotive repair techniques with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
• Experience in diesel engine repair, auto body repair, and automotive diagnostics.
• Familiarity with a variety of power tools used in the automotive industry.
• Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of GM vehicles is a plus.
