Job Description
Paint isn't just paint. It's craftsmanship. Ceramic Pro San Diego is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Automotive Painter who takes genuine pride in producing flawless work. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a premium, fast-paced environment where quality always comes first. What You'll Do Perform high-quality automotive painting and refinishing Mix and match paint accurately using manufacturer specifications Complete repairs ranging from bumper refinishing to full panel and complete vehicle resprays Prepare vehicles through sanding, masking, priming, and final cleaning Blend adjacent panels for seamless color transitions Wet sand, polish, and finish painted surfaces to showroom quality Maintain paint booth, equipment, and a clean work environment Perform quality control inspections before delivery Collaborate with production staff to ensure vehicles move efficiently through the shop What We're Looking For 5+ years of professional automotive painting experience Strong understanding of modern paint systems and color matching Experience with HVLP spray equipment Ability to produce OEM-quality finishes with minimal rework Comfortable working on luxury, exotic, and enthusiast vehicles High attention to detail and personal accountability Strong work ethic and positive attitude Valid driver's license with clean driving record Bonus Qualifications Experience with waterborne paint systems I-CAR, ASE, or manufacturer certifications Experience in restoration or custom paint work Buffing, polishing, and finish correction experience What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Performance bonuses Paid holidays and PTO Health benefits Opportunities for advancement within one of Southern California's premier automotive appearance facilities State-of-the-art equipment and clean, professional work environment Consistent workflow with high-end clientele Who We Are Ceramic Pro San Diego is one of Southern California's premier automotive restyling facilities specializing in paint protection film, ceramic coatings, window tint, vinyl wraps, paint correction, and premium automotive services.
