Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment using advanced tools and techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication skills to restore vehicle frames and panels accurately. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment, ensuring a smooth, high-quality finish that matches original colors. Repair or replace auto glass, perform auto glass installation, and handle auto restoration projects with meticulous attention to detail. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently to complete repairs within specified timeframes. Assess vehicle damage thoroughly, prepare estimates using auto estimating software, and communicate repair plans clearly to customers. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, including auto painting, auto glass replacement, and sheet metal work. Proficiency in MIG welding, welding techniques, soldering, fabrication, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems for effective diagnosis and repair of automotive issues. Experience with auto estimating software is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments regularly.
